As to the video. . . It's disgusting. My heart goes out to his family both for the loss of a loved one, but also in the way it was lost.

As to the killers. . . They made a huge ****ing mistake. The U.S. is not exactly known for running away from fights. Japan tried to take out Pearl Harbor, and it got them a beat down all the way to their homeland, and a couple nukes to boot. We stayed in Vietnam well past the point where it was obvious that nobody wanted us there, North or South. Iraq invades Kuwait? We beat their army to within an inch of its collective life. Terrorists fly planes into two skyscrapers and the Pentagon? We take over an entire country.

Personally, I was completly against the U.S. invading Iraq the second time, especially without the backing of the U.N. I think this has more to do with oil and the fact that Iraq surrendered in the first Gulf War before Bush Sr. could get to Saddam, leaving 'dub the desire to finish the job than anything else. However, the damage has been done, regardless of the lack of WMD's and the other excuses Bush made to go there. Now we're trying to repair the damage we caused and leave the Iraqi people with something resembling self-governance. We want to get our troops out of there as soon as the people can sustain and defend themselves, but until that happens we're going to be there to prevent a power vacuum that would tear Iraq and most likely its neighbors apart. There are most likely other side agendas, but I'm not going to go there.

Here's what the terrorists accomplished:
1) They pissed us off, and guaranteed that they will be hunted down.
2) They pretty much made sure that our armed forces are going to stay longer.
3) They guaranteed that when they die, they are going to find one very angry Allah waiting for them.

trust me it is not worth it! it didn't give me nightmares, but i got sick and couldn't sleep because my subconsious kept telling me that someone was trying to kill me!!! (or something like that). i kept looking around expecting someone to attack me!

it is so disgusting and such a horrible thing to see, save yourself the anguish and watch something else. it's sad that things like that still happen in this day and age...

yo you guys wanna know somthing about that whole thing? ok my family is from berwyn. it is a small town in chester country. like 10min from philly. so my uncle was talking to me and i brought it up and he said that a guy he knows went to school with the guy and the behind the scene story is that he was held there because they found a e-mail to one of the terrorist's on his computer or some crap like that. and one of the reasons he was killed was cause he was ***ish! that is the little known facts about that. i don't know if that allready came out or somthing but im not following that story but if you didn't know now you do.

the whole situation is all f***ed up. this really isn't even a war, it's just a country going after a group of stupid s***heads that messed with the biggest brute* they could find (*not trying to refer to the states as stupid there)
it's gotten way past pathetic. these guys cutting off his head cuz of some f***ing soldiers thought it would be fun to photograph some people in a human skin pile. cuz NOBODY would get their hands on the pictures (sarcasm there). and a f***ing congratulatory handshake to the media for making that so nicely well known that we now have this thread to discuss in.
