newb to this forum with a simple question

ok so i bought an 83 rabbit gti that needs a fusebox. i also have an 87 cabriolet, will the fusebox from the cabriolet work with the gti?

I'm not sure if the fuse boxes will be interchangable. I'm thinking no though. Even though they both run off of CIS (unless the cabby was CIS-E) they will most likely have differant connectors etc. If you need a box I can get you one from a 81 or a 84, the 84 would be your best bet

87 Cabby is probably Digifant EFI.

alright so i ripped a fusebox out of an 84 gti, this is going to be a wiring nightmare haha.

The ebay fusebox definitly will not work.
It's actually pretty simple to swap them as the connections only plug in one spot
