ok i wanna repaint my car. but if i do im going to take off all the molding and bondo it and sand and junk and have it painted. it is currently white. what color do you think i should do? i like blue alot. i like the firebird blue! my interior color scheme is blue and black so i want something that will match that. like keep it white or blue or black or if anyone thinks other colors will go good. this is going to be a macco paint job so its not going to be the greatest but its under $300

blue would look good, are you painting everything (engine bay, trunk, door jams and such...) or just the outside?

U.S. bumpers or Euro bumpers. Either or i have seen people pull it off and it looks good.

You may as well just go to auto zone and get some car spray paint.. It'll be just as good as a macco job, if not better..

if your only gonna have the outside done then get it the same color...it looks real bad when the outside of the car is a diff color from the door jams and under the hood and in the trunk, that and alpine white kicks ass :D

I'd go candy-***** red, that blue you are speaking of, or silver... Mabey black?

I personally like metallic black with pearl coat
dark metalic orange. sexy, and it really turns peoples heads

Big bumpers are over rated.. Rock small bumps with no fender flairs..

if your gonna have them paint big bumpers you pretty much have to sand of the texture on the black part so they paint will stick and not chip and peal down the road....dont do a maco paint job :-/ that stuffs gonna be nasty in a few years
small bumpers and no fender flairs is over rated :P

Maaco is a 1 stage paint process... It's glossy paint. No clearcoat... The car looks BETTER than a dull worn paint job in the beginning, but maaco paint wears to dull in a matter of like 3 years. Get a paint job from a body shop... Any "good" paint job will cost 700-2,500 dollars.
