Quite inconveniently, since I'm trying to save money, I had a small accident the other day. I was backing out of this girl's driveway, and skimmed a concrete column. She has a gate to the front of her driveway with a column on either side. I was using the wrong mirror as a guide, and she has a fairly skinny driveway. So yea... I brought it to the last body shop I went to, and they gave me an estimate around 924 dollars.... I can't afford that. Can anyone help me? I'll see if I can get some pictures up, so you all get a better idea of what it looks like. Essentially, right above the wheel is dented, and there is a large scrape from that area, all the way back to the bumper. I appreciate what help I can get.

ok you are going to need 3 things. 1.bondo! 2. a buffer 3.touch up paint and or sprayer with some clearcoat spray.

Could you elaborate on one and two a bit?

You might beable to go to the junk yard and find a back fender the same color as yours.

Possibly, I'll look into that.

bondo! you do know what bondo is right? it is an epoxy that is used in auto repair. to fill in dents and junk. when done right you can't even tell. you use that to fill in all the dents and you shape it like the fender. then you use a buffer/sander to sand it down to smooth and flush finish. then you repaint then take a buffer to it. put more paint on it. buff it out again then apply clear coat. then buff that. then put more on. then buff it. then put another coat or as many untill it looks like it is covering it well. then make sure you keep a nice amount of wax on that spot to keep it looking great!

It is similar to a product that women use to make the pock marks on thier faces less visible. It's called "foundation"

Ouch dude. that sucks. When I did that with my mom's chevette I just went to canadian tire and bought some touch up paint. It cost $20 and it looks far from perfect but good enough to keep her happy.
