OK. So I figured out this piece is the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve. I went to my local Autoparts store and they told me that there is no PCV valve on my car. So after showing him it he said they couldn't do anything for me and i would have to go to a dealership. Anyone else have this problem?
Also is there anyway to check tranny fluid. I think it might be low because when you give it gas it wont go right away than it catches and quickly jerks forward. Auto trans.
Thanks for your help guys.

That is retarded that they would tell you that... every car ever made has to have a crankcase vent or the engine would explode from pressure buildup. Even lawnmowers have a version of this!
If I know what you are talking about it's the round thinggy that looks kind of like a hockey puck, with like... 3 different connections to it, right? I had one of the connections break on the one on my car, this caused a massive vacuum leak, so I had to replace it... went to the auto parts store.. same story... I had to go to the dealer... To put a long story short, I just ended up rigging something up with hoses and clamps... it works very well, but you'd call it "ghetto rigging". First, I would call around to local volkswagen / european automotive shops and see if they can get one for you, but from the reasearch I have done, this is probably going to be a dealer only part... I would be interested in knowing what you find out tho!
About the tranny... If it's automatic, then there is a dipstick for the transmission... You should check that and see if the fluid level is where it should be.... If the fluid is full, then you transmission might need a flush... Delayed engagement usually means the valves or filter inside the transmission are dirty or clogged...
Another thing, it could be the tranny computer... The method of resetting the TCM:
Ignition on (not engine)
Gas pedal down all the way for minimum. of 5 seconds
Ingition off
Gas pedal up.
That should reset the TCM, which will correct the delayed engagment problem if that is the issue.
If resetting the TCM doesnt help, make sure the fluid is topped off... If it still does it, go to your european / volkswagen repair shop and buy a transmission flush / filter change.
If none of these things work, it's time for a tranny rebuild.
Good luck, man.

You know what, they might be sealed... I am just going off my experience with other transmissions from various other manufacturers... Look for a dipstick... if you can't find one, let me know and I'll do some more research... You probably check the fluid the same way you'd check a manual tranny if that is the case.

I'm pretty sure there is no dipstick. :(

the way to check the fluid on a tranny like that, is let it run, then over fill it with ATF, then plug the filler.
or play a lot of money to VW to have them hook up a comp to your ECU then it will tell you how much fluid you have. VW has a comp that does that.
but sounds like you need more ATF. or it could be that stupid drive-by-wire-bull-Shizz.

Because of the large expense associated with designer handbags, lots of people choose to obtain bogus developer shopping bags simply because they do look very close like the authentic fashion handbag as well as can be purchased on the web and community flea areas.
