I don't know, there are several ways to look at it.

1. Is it covering up any bad holes? If so, it's probably best to leave it on or get a new one (you've seen pics of my car)

2. How bad of condition is the plate in? The seals look like they are in fairly good condition (whoever destroyed it made sure not to totally obliterate it)

3. Do you think the popularity of German plates is wearing thin? I decided not to get one since I think it's almost cliche now. On the right application it looks great and I think it looks just fine on your car...I vote for getting a new one to change it up.

Oh, and by not having a frame, can't you have it more contoured with the front bumper?

leave it how it is! it looks kinda cool all beat on like that. it looks like its supposed to be there. either leave it or dont have a plate at all

The plate is completly hammered ( litterally ). It was on the front of my Jetta GLX that I tottaled... The car was BADLY damaged on the front, and the plate was right int he middle of it... I had to hammer it back into shape.

It has since been on the front of every german car I have ever owned, which nearly numbers in teh dozens....

It has a sentimental value cause it reminds me of the GLX and the 300E Mercedes-Benz...

I think I might atleast get a holder for it so it doesnt fall off, lol
