I used it to fix the AC plug for my Sega Game Gear back in the day. The power cable would only work when it was bent one way so I made it say that way ;)

I used duct-tape while camping to wrap a short piece of rope around a tree to keep a tarp from falling down while it was raining...Ducttape and WD-40 is all you need in a toolbox!

Just saw an ad for something I've never seen before. . . In addition to all the lovely colors you can get duct tape in, it now comes in clear! What will they think of next...
i had to play bass guitar for my friends wedding, and about 10 min before i started, some kid knocked over my guitar, and the pickup snapped out of it, and the screws stripped.....so good ol duct tape came to the rescue and fixed it just in time.
i also make duct tape guitar straps

speaking of clear duct tape, my friend with the 2 cylinder geo metro was on the freeway... the hood latch gave way, and ripped the hood right off the car.... LOL, it was funny... obviously the hood wouldnt bolt back on, so we got some clear duct tape, and taped the hood back on... it was AWESOME.

Yeah... The 2cyl metros were like 1.2L... It's incredibly great on gasmileage, but the motors don't last very long.
