We've had some serious power problems in Utah the past few days... The power went out all day long... The battery backups, and generator only kept the server running for 6 hours... Afterwards, the server didnt reboot, so the website was down for about 24 hours.... SORRY!!! This will never happen again... I'm getting a bigger gas tank for the generator, and 1 more battery backup. Thank you everybody for your patience!

Does that mean you MacGuyver'd a generator? With nothing more than duct tape and a swiss army knife?

Yes, but never a full roll, only 1/3 or less, flattened so it fits in your back pocket

it's an old "BMAC" generator... I simply placed a vw diesel engine in it's place... it was a high school project in welding class.

Okay so get this... I was working on my generator the other day, and this city utilty guy was on a power pole behind my house... He saw that I had:
1. A generator, which is illegal without permit.
2. A 65 gallon fuel tank. Apparently I can't store more than 25 gallons on a single lot without a permit. (that is not in a vehicle)
To make a long story short, this generator is being decommitioned until I can get a lawyer.... So if the website is down, you'll know why.
