Yep, a beautiful 82 Scirocco. It was a 21 hour drive, 200 dollars in gas, a day off work all for a 330 dollar car. And I'd do it again in a second.

I haven't taken any pictures yet but I will soon. These are the pictures the seller took.

My plans for this beast are to fix the fuel pump and drive it for the winter, then in the summer do some body work and get it painted miami blue. drop in my TD engine with an intercooler and full exhaust. I'll probably buy some nicer leather seats for it. I need to get a headliner for it as well.

Right now I am pretty sure it has the 1.6l gas engine in it. Not too quick but good on gas, which is nice.

I thought scirocco's came with 16v's? oh well, nice buy anyhow :lol:

I think MKII Scirocco's only.

still nice score.

does it have a sunroof, if it doesnt I think its lighter than a Rabbit GTI.

This is a mk2 rocco. It does not have a sunroof. The body looks clean but it really isn't all that good. Some roccos had the 16v and some didn't. I think the 16v came around in 86 or 88...not sure.

I'll defintly get some pictures up when my GF brings over her digital

The rocco had several 8V engines availible. I"ve seen dozens of 8V roccos, but yes, your are *more likely* to find a 16V rocco, than an 8V. It's allright... he's swapping in a diesel anyway.

clean car nice one..is the the volvo wiper blade (http://www.swedishpartsshop.com/volvowiperblade.html) new?.. that fit perfectly for your car..it'll be nice to look at it has one. :) .
