10 second NA CRX

I just read on a website the other day of a Honda CRX in the 10 second range... and it was normally aspirated.

The engine was running 16:1 compression with a whole load of other mods, of course.. but, yeah, that's wild.

Supposedly the guy with the car is getting an engine built with 18:1 compression and he's expecting to be in the 9s afterwards.

Isn't a normal engine like 10:1?

You can do 100:1 if you have the octane to do it.
