So yeah I apologize for my disappearance off the face of the earth but I have been working 60 hrs a week and then going out so its been hell to say the least...but im now back...and happy as a bug in a bait shop...

so yeah it turns out taht my timing belt for for shipoops and it ended up skipping a tooth and bent a head valve in my engine....so between re-machining the head, replacing the valves, tuning the engine properly, the new timing belt, oil change, radiator flush, and labor all came out to $1700...sooo much fun...but now this 2.slow is now a 2.go!

P.S.- I put in a K&N filter and liking the extra 10 hp and 5 mpg extra kinda nice actually...

Don't know about 10 hp from a K&N, but good to see you got your car fixed :)

10hp? 5mpg? Nooooooo... Mabey 2hp and mabey 0.5mpg.

Did they mill down the head? Probably increased the compression a few points and that's one of the cheapest ways to get decent amount of hp out of the 2.0L

You know why i think the mpg went up...perhaps its from finally driving normally...lol

And idk, all i know is that they had to remachine the head...
