This thread is going to be dedicated towards you members letting us know how we can improve this site and get more members on board.
So here is your chance to let us know what you do or dont like, what you would like to see, or anything else you can think of to help promote this site! Some stuff is being discussed at the moment that us mods are talking about and working on.
One thing you may notice already is we have enabled the "Feature Car of the Week", this option was active when the site first started but kinda stopped but we decided to do it once again. It's a good way to show your ride and all the work and money you have put into it to other members.
Also we are going to working on getting www.DubNetworks.net decals, and get your addresses to mail them out, when we get some decals in one of us mods willput up a post letting you know in which case you can PM us your address.
These are only a few improvements that we are talking about, so feel free to tell us what you think what else we can improve on!

Can you move the left sponsors pane? I hate having to scroll down to get to the recent topics.

^ I have to disagree with you :P I usually open all the topics i want to read in a new window and then click on the ads each time I remember. If they weren't there I'd forget.
But yeah, I really like the way VW Vortex is laid out how it's kind of an on-line magazine, and I think if the site had a bit of that added to it so you (Diesel) could post the tech stuff you do and the featured ride could be on that front page and the forum would be a click away, but still have the recent topics on the main page.

You could also write a page about the feature cars, like vwvortex does, that'd be cool

seeing about that... hopefully wwe can get something pulled together to where you can have a seperate page or maybe a small space below the pic on the main page.

we should get a site chat area. somewhere the users can go to directly chat. a site chat room. with registered names. or same as dubnet so we know who is who.

Personally I think it would be benificial to the site to completly get rid of the recent topics. Only because that way you have to browse through each forum, and you will see all the of the threads there. That may remind you of something or spark your interest which could result in another post.

i have to dissagree. then you have to take more time to find the post. and if you want to look at several posts then its going to take more time then they might want to give to dubnet and they will move it. look at tex. they have so many posts the post your looking for may be a day old. but it is 3 pages back. i wouldn't want to have to look through 3 pages for a post. we want them to find the site easy to use and find topics. not hard. if they want to look at other posts then fine. they will do that. but if they just want to keep up with the currents then they will just do that. a member is a member it doesn't matter if they just post on whats recent or on everything. as long as there posting who gives a damn? i vote for keeping the recent topics. besies all the vetrans begged for that option taking it away will be like cutting medicare. someone might get killed over it.
