One of the locals here had that done to his MKIII GTI. He claims a 15 hp gain, from the first pass on the dyno and then after again having that done.

15hp gain at redline, and 10lb ft loss from 4,200-redline

well im not going to get it so no worries. im thinking about a kamie*sp grille kit.
